The Committee must include at least one (1) licensed architect who is either an Association member and volunteer, or a paid architect to act as a consultant for the Association. Committee members shall serve two-year terms subject to the Board's power to remove any Committee member and to appoint his or her successor. The current ARC members are

  • Anne Mitchell, Unit 85
  • Alan Vidinsky Unit 108,
  • Ralph Coppola unit 110,
  • Terry Sarvas Unit 17
  • Charles Quaglieri Unit 32
  • Carl Bertelsen, Unit 181
  • Scott Ryan, Architect Consultant

Aidan Miles, General Manager, is the staff liaison with the committee.

The committee’s purpose is to improve Chinquapin while keeping the integrity of property.  Secondly, we want to make it as easy as possible to assist you in improving your property even though there are many rules enforced my the TRPA and other governing bodies.

With that in mind, your first step when considering a remodel is to reach out to Aidan Miles, General Manager to share your ideas and he will discuss with you whether your project is a Fast Track or a General Item (more complex).  He will also direct you a general checklist that can be found here .  All forms for ARC can be found here.

All projects will require approval from the ARC and the Board.  We have regularly scheduled meetings held at 9:30 am on the Friday before the Board Meetings.
