Letter to Homeowners

from President, Charles Quaglieri

Neighbors,

It was announced at the annual meeting that our general manager, Robert Duffield, plans to retire at the end of the year. When it became apparent there was no dissuading him we searched, interviewed and subsequently hired Mr. Brad Kohler to be our new GM.

Brad has an interesting and varied background including experience in all aspects of the hospitality industry. A few of his experiences include his operating Tonopalo, a fractional ownership community in Tahoe Vista; marina management at Lake Tahoe; and, management of a large gated community in the sierra foothills. He and his wife live nearby on Old County road.

We as your board have confidence in his ability to fill the big shoes of Bob Duffield. He started on Oct.1 dovetailing with Bob ‘s final 90 days in an effort to make the transition as seamless as possible.

I hope you will welcome him and get to know him.

The staff is getting the property ready for winter. The board is working on a budget and this will be finalized at the Nov.11 board meeting. Our association is on sound footing and I will be reporting to you in more detail after the budget is finalized.

Finally, attached to this letter is a very short questionnaire. We are committed to be transparent with our fellow homeowners. This short survey will take two minutes or less to complete. Your responses, hopefully, will help us to communicate better. Please click on the link below to complete the survey.
