Governance

The Chinquapin Homeowners Association is governed by a 7 person elected board of Directors.  Directors are homeowners in good standing who are elected to two year terms. The Board of Directors appoints committees to address specific areas of governance at Chinquapin.  Examples of these committees are the Architectural Review Committee and the Grounds Committee.  The board provides the vision for governance at Chinquapin and directs the General Manager to carry out this vision.  CHOA is responsible to abide by the governing laws for Homeowner Associations in the state of California such as the Davis -Stirling Act and the California Corporations Code.

Homeowners are encouraged be involved in the governance of CHOA by running for the Board of Directors or volunteering for the various committees.  Contact any board member or the General Manager for more information.
