The Grounds Committee is an advisory committee to the CHOA Board of Directors. The committee is appointed by the board to oversee the maintenance and improvement work on the common area of Chinquapin. The Grounds Committee chairman is a member of the CHOA Board of Directors and committee members may also be on the board or may be volunteer homeowners. The committee meets on a scheduled and/or on an as needed basis. The current Grounds Committee is made up of Terry Sarvas, Carl Bertelsen, and Jeff Giacomi. Homeowners interested in volunteering for the committee should contact the board president or the Grounds committee chair. In addition to giving oversight recommendations to the common area grounds, the committee evaluates Homeowner improvement requests to the common area immediately adjacent to their units. Homeowners interested in requesting improvements should review the Grounds and Landscape Guidelines for criteria and direction on how requests are submitted and reviewed.
