Antenna & Wiring Guidelines

The Architectural Review Committee, with the consent of the Board of Directors, has complete control over the exterior of all buildings within Chinquapin. In the spirit of maintaining the appearance of the community at the highest level possible, while complying with State and Federal regulations, the following guidelines have been implemented:

  1. The Director of the ARC/Buildings and the owner must agree to the location of any exterior wiring and satellite dish installation, with the objective of hiding the dish and wires as best as possible, while not degrading signal quality.

  2. All wiring must be dark brown.

  3. Whenever possible, the wires must enter the building from the subterranean crawl space, or at a location agreed to by the Director of the ARC/Buildings.

  4. Exposed wiring on the exterior of buildings must be minimized to the greatest extent possible. Multiple wire entries to buildings will not be permitted.

  5. All wires must follow the architectural lines/trims of buildings and be installed behind the trim whenever possible.
